I spent the good part of a year prepping my master’s thesis for New School’s International AffaIrs program (advised by Wayne Marshall and Sean Jacobs). Even after I earned my degree the work didn’t stop. I sent the paper to Mats Utas, a great researcher who I referenced heavily in the paper, who responded with thoughts to publish it with the Nordic Africa Institute.
