DJ Ripley has arrived in NY for good, and she’s throwing a party to celebrate!
February 3rd at Public Assembly.
This will be the first in a series of events trying to bring together revolutionary thought, practice, and music in once space. The Williamsburg version of a Jamaican street dance, perhaps?

Sam Hilmer, my friend from the band Z’s, and who I met at the Beacon for Arts and Leadership in Bushwick, is having me down to Zebulon for the second time after XYZsmas. This time it’s for PRACTICE! his bi-weekly community music workshop/gig night.
Come thru! Tuesday January 31st. Facebook here.

This Saturday, I will be DJing a four turntable set with DJ Frei for the Afrika 21 CMJ Showcase, hosted by Society HAE. Our set is at 5pm. Come through and check out all the emerging African talent in NYC!

Dutty Artz will be back at The Cove this Friday! Geko, Tally, and Jace are all back to the party from trips touching down all over the world. Dutty Artz is global, and you’re gonna get a taste of that through the music we all play. Don’t miss it!
